Responsible business, enduring impact
A company does not last 89 years by accident. Longevity demands responsibility — to the environment, our communities and our people.
Five pillars of responsibility
Our sustainability agenda is embedded in how each business is run — not an afterthought. Explore each pillar.
We work to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations and take part in nationwide environmental action — including the Nigerian Conservation Foundation's annual Walk for Nature, which the AGL Tribe has joined for multiple years running.
Through AGL Cares, our teams volunteer directly in the communities where we operate — school visits, donations and outreach coordinated by our own people, alongside the independent Leventis Foundation network.
Nine decades of trust rest on uncompromising governance: an independent board, rigorous internal controls, and transparent reporting to shareholders, regulators and partners.
We develop Nigerian talent deliberately — through technical training, structured mentorship and a culture where careers span decades. Safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable across all operations.
From GPS-tracked, telematics-managed fleets to digitised retail and property operations, we invest in technology that improves service and reduces waste across the Group.
Our people, giving back
AGL Cares is our employee-driven community programme — the AGL Tribe volunteering directly in the schools, communities and causes around us. Drawn from nearly a decade of real, dated programmes.

An independent philanthropic legacy
Founded by the Leventis family in 1979, the A.G. Leventis Foundation is an independent charitable organisation supporting education, culture and community development — operating separately from A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited's commercial businesses.
Continuing a philanthropic tradition
Established in 1988 to continue the Group's existing philanthropic work, Leventis Foundation Nigeria is an independent organisation with a lasting focus on education, nature conservation and sustainable development.
