Retail
A name that became synonymous with quality and affordable household goods — the retail chapter that helped shape modern Nigerian consumer trust.
Where it started
In 1965, the first Leventis Store opened its doors on Lagos' Marina — bringing a new standard of quality, affordable household goods to Nigerian consumers. It grew into a nationwide chain and a major employer, expanding to Benin, Calabar, Abuja, Owerri, Kano, Kaduna and Maiduguri, and became one of the defining consumer brands of its era.

What retail comes down to
Range, availability and order — shelves kept stocked, inventory kept in sequence, and the right goods kept within reach of the customer.

From Lagos' Marina to eight cities
Leventis Stores expanded from its original Lagos location into a genuinely nationwide retail presence.
Retail is not currently an active operating business within the Group — this page reflects that heritage. If you're interested in a retail partnership or franchise conversation with A.G. Leventis, our team would welcome the enquiry.
